Ananais, or Darkmask, is a former member of The Dragon and a survivor of Ceska's arena fights. He wears a black mask due to the disfigurement of his face having fought a joining in the arena. He is a solid warrior and leader who takes command of the Skoda rebels in The King Beyond the Gate.
